Watchers

The amazing Olaf Winter (of amazon-warriors.com) has shot a live action version of my comic, "Ultimate Gladiatrix". I've posted about it here, with links to the preview shots:

A LOT of work has gone into this - it may be one of the most elaborate niche short films you'll ever see. I created the opening establishing shots in 3D (I'll post some stills of those shortly), and Olaf did all the live action fights in his amazing studio. On my end it was weeks of work, using landscape generators, After Effects, Cinema 4D and sketchup, and trying to wring as much out of my computer as possible. Rendering good quality shots in 1920x1080 takes a very long time! Olaf has been working hard on his end, in between other projects.

Hi, I love your previous works about gladiatrix fights, especially Locusta and Fiona ;-)

I am author and great fan of gladiatrix duels.
It would be nice to work together.
Greetings

Matt

Hi, do you still work on your comics? :)

I haven't done anything in a few months, because other work jobs have kept me occupied.....but I do want to do more stuff sometime before summer. It's just that it takes a lot out of me to do a series --- people really have no idea!! --- so I have to conserve energy, and get whatever work done once my mainstream jobs are finished.

Wish I could give you an estimate on when to expect new work, but it's very hard to say. I am still breathing though!

Hey man, long time admirer of your work. Take your time, updates from you are well worth the wait; have you considered some more one-offs though? Your series are fantastic, but your one-off pics (particularly along the victor/vanquished line) are great! I'd love to see some more simple pics from ya. :)

Thanks Andy!

It's always been the most difficult thing for me to split up my time between different projects -- so to have a day with a two-way split ... as it is now, between two mainstream projects .... and to add a gladiatrix one on that, the quality would really suffer. What seems to happen with me is that I build up a "charge", and then work like a maniac for 2-5 weeks, then I'm flattened again for another few months.

But you're right -- I'd much rather be able to do it consistently. This just seems to be the way I'm wired!

Some time ago I did not come by Devianart, and now I'm back to see your gallery, I have to tell you again: a great job! I quite like both the quality of the drawings, how they are made, and their scenes.

I encourage you to continue business as usual, well worth it!

Greetings!

Many thanks!! I've been insanely busy lately, but am always kicking around ideas. With a little luck I'll have some spare time in a few months to do some new content.

Since I like catfights and women warriors I was naturally ammediately interested in your work, I think along with *adventure-art and *Shabazik you are now my favourite what comes to this style of art. Your work is lot more brutal than theirs but thatīs a nice chainge, mind you *adventure-art does some more bloody stuf too.
